MY PUERTO GALERA :: Climate

With its tropical climate, Puerto Galera is generally warm and relatively humid year round (the annual average humidity is 84.6%).  While rain showers are common throughout the year, they are more frequent during rainy season from June to October when typhoons and tropical depressions generate stormy weather.

During the peak travel season between November and February, it is relatively dry and cool with seasonal lows of about 27°C.  March to May remains relatively dry as the temperature gradually rises with highs reaching the mid-30s.

For scuba divers, the ocean remains warm all year varying from a low of about 22°C in winter to 29°C in late summer.
